1.Does your factory have a SER program which meets or exceeds SER requirements of The Home Depot?
2.Is the supplier/factory aware of The Home Depot's Social and Environmental Responsibility Standards and Zero Tolerances?
3.Does the factory have all the legally required operating permits?
4.Has the facility taken appropriate steps to prevent falsified records and documentation with respect to payroll registers, sales and accounting records?
5.Does the facility have policy to comply with the procedure on Non Bribery?
6.Do workers have convenient access to documents that explain the relevant national labor laws and company policy?
7.Are workers provided with a copy of their own company employee handbook?
8.Does factory maintain all worker personnel files with appropriate information?
9.Does the facility have a written employment agreement for permanent/trainee/contract workers?
10.Does the facility have a written policy that prohibits the following forms of forced labor? : Debt-bondage,indentured, slave labor or prison labor
11.Are employees hired on a voluntary basis?
12.What measures has the facility taken to make sure that there is no use of bonded labor, indentured, or prison labor to produce product or merchandise?
13.Are appropriate measures taken to ensure that employees national identification cards and passports are not retained ?
14.Does the facility have a written policy that upholds workers' right to voluntary employment and privileges to choose to terminate his or her employment to work?
15.Are all employees at the facility at least 16 years old or at least the country minimum age for employment? Is there any system in place?
16.Does factory keep documentations and follow the requirements of local and national labor committee of juvenile workers?
17.Does the facility have a written policy on anti-harassment and abuse?
18.Does the facility have a venue for employee and management communication and discussion of employee grievances?
19.Does the facility have a written policy on discipline and termination?
20.Does the facility have a policy that addresses hiring, promotion and disciplinary procedures.?
21.Are there any issues raised by female workers related to pregnancy?

23.Does the facility have a written policy that states freedom of movement is not restricted unreasonably,given legitimate concerns for workers' safety?

easily exit the factory?
35.Are emergency exits doors kept unlocked and unobstructed during work hours?
36.Are emergency exit doors posted with signs that can be identified from a distance?
37.Does the facility maintain the appropriate amount of fire extinguishers that are accessible
during an emergency?
38.Is the facility equipped with a working audible fire/evacuation alarm?
39.Does the Facility conduct appropriate Emergency Evacuation drills as required by law or safety code?
40.Are all wiring and electrical panel boxes in safe condition?
 
41.Are Liquid propane gas tanks/cylinders stored safely outdoors, posted with warning signs?
42.Are the factory's generator permit(s) valid?
43.Are the factory's boiler permit(s) valid?
44.Are there sufficient toilet facilities available for all workers and those facilities are properly
maintained?
45.Is clean drinking water available to all employees? Is it free?

47.Are there any conditions at the factory and factory grounds that pose a health and safety risk to employees?
